Meet the Pastor

Pastor Marion Easterling

marion-easterlingRev. Marion Easterling, Jr., came to Wesley Grove UMC September 11, 2016 from the New England Conference.

Under Pastor Marion’s leadership he strives to grow his church in measurable ways such as membership, worship attendance, stewardship, and Bible study participation. Other immeasurable ways of growth he focuses on is increasing the spiritual depth of members and developing deeper partnership with community commissions, boards, and agencies. Pastor Marion’s leadership style brings the church and community together by recognizing community leaders, hosting forums, and advocating for social justice.

Pastor Marion currently serves on the Board of Ordained Ministry, the Mission Share Relief Committee, and as a Candidacy Mentor. He is also a certified field supervisor through the Boston University School of Theology Contextual Education Office. He was formally a member of the New England Conference Personnel Committee.

Pastor Marion is a proud alumnus of Andover New Theological School, and currently serves on the President’s Advisory Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Milton Interfaith Clergy Association, and the Black Ministerial Alliance of Boston.

Pastor Marion is the proud husband of Bishop LaTrelle Miller Easterling, who serves as the resident bishop of the Baltimore-Washington Conference. Together they parent two wonderful young men, Garrett and Miles. Pastor Marion enjoys golf, Tibetan Tai Chi, family movie nights, and long walks with the Bishop.
